I’ve spent more than a decade as an editor in the Capital Region, most of it as managing editor of Spotlight News in Delmar, and most recently as an associate editor at Capital Region Living and Saratoga Living.
My work there earned first-place honors from the New York Press Association for arts coverage and front page design.
I host On The List, a weekly music program on WVCR 88.3 FM, Siena University Radio, streamed on iHeartRadio, and I produce it myself: the writing, the interviews and the audio editing. In 2026 I was nominated for Radio DJ of the Year at the Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards, the Eddies.
I’ve been shooting professionally for years. The photographs in the papers I edited were usually mine.
I publish Ish Bulletin, a Substack newsletter with more than 4,000 subscribers, and I host On The List on WVCR 88.3 FM.
Hiring me does not buy coverage in either one. Advertising in the Bulletin is available at rate-card price and is a separate conversation. If a client ever appears in the Bulletin’s editorial pages, the relationship is disclosed in the piece.
That rule protects the audience, which is the only reason the audience is worth anything to you.
