Privacy Policy

Center Square Media is a communications business run by Michael Hallisey in Delmar, New York. This policy explains what information this website collects, how I use it and the choices you have. “I” and “me” mean Center Square Media.

What I collect

When you use the contact form: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the services you are interested in and your message. The form also records your IP address, your browser type and the page you sent it from, which helps me spot spam.

When you visit: like nearly every website, the server that hosts this site keeps standard logs, including your IP address, browser type and the pages you request.

Google Analytics: this site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It records the pages you view, roughly where you are (city level), the site or search that sent you, and your device and browser. It sets cookies in your browser to tell one visit from the next. It does not tell me who you are, and I do not use advertising trackers here.

How I use it

Only to reply to you, to talk with you about work you have asked about, and to keep a record of those conversations. I do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Services that handle information for this site

  • Hostinger hosts the website and keeps its server logs.
  • Gravity Forms stores contact form submissions in the website’s own database.
  • Site Mailer, a service from Elementor, delivers the email notification when you send the form.
  • Google Fonts supplies the site’s typefaces, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads and Google receives your IP address.
  • Google Analytics, connected through the Site Kit plugin, measures traffic. Google processes that data on my behalf under its own terms.
  • Ally, Elementor’s accessibility tool, loads from Elementor’s servers so you can adjust how the site displays.

Links to LinkedIn, Substack and Spotify take you to those services, and their own privacy policies apply there.

How long I keep it

Contact form submissions are kept for as long as they are useful to our conversation or my business records. I will delete yours if you ask, unless I have to keep something for legal or tax reasons.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you have sent through this site. Send a note through the contact page and say it is a privacy request.

To keep Google Analytics from measuring your visits, use your browser’s tracking protection or install Google’s opt-out add-on.

Security

The site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to form submissions is limited to me and the team that maintains the website. No website is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
